Chemical composition of artificial turf
Artificial lawns are mainly made of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), as well as polyvinyl chloride and polyamide. The leaves have a green color resembling natural grass and require the addition of ultraviolet absorbers.
1. Polyethylene (PE): It has a softer feel, a more similar appearance and athletic performance to natural grass, and is widely accepted by users. It is a widely used artificial grass fiber raw material in the current market.
2. Polypropylene (PP): Grass fiber is relatively hard and is generally suitable for use on tennis courts, playgrounds, runways, or decorations. Slightly worse wear resistance than polyethylene
3. Nylon: It is an early raw material for artificial grass fibers and belongs to the category of artificial grass fibers.
